Dear Doctor, ❤️
Words can never be enough to thank you for everything you have done for me and my baby.
Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me and for helping me have a safe delivery.
During those difficult and emotional moments, your support, guidance, and confidence gave me strength and made me feel safe. I will always be grateful to you for bringing my little one safely into this world.
You were not just my doctor, but a constant source of reassurance throughout this journey. Your patience and kindness made even the most anxious moments feel easier. Thank you for always listening to my concerns and making me feel cared for. You will forever hold a very special place in our family’s story. ❤️

What Our Patients Say
Dr Ekawali Gupta is honestly the best gynaecologist we found in Mohali for pregnancy and normal delivery. Ours was a high risk pregnancy because baby growth was low in the last month and BP was fluctuating. We were very scared and visiting emergency almost every week. She never panicked us.
Calmly explained every report, monitored Doppler again and again and guided us till safe normal delivery. Labour room management was outstanding.
Even at 3 am she was available. Rare to find such dedication these days.
What we appreciated most was how patiently she listened to every concern, even when we asked the same questions again and again out of anxiety. She always explained what was happening and what the next step would be, which gave us a lot of confidence during those last few difficult weeks.

What our Patients Say
I cannot thank Dr. Ekawali Gupta enough for the incredible care, guidance, and support she gave me at one of the most crucial moments of my life. I met her at the very last minute before my delivery, yet the confidence and reassurance she provided felt as if I had been under her care all along.
Her expertise, calm presence, and compassionate approach made all the difference. She guided me through every step with such clarity and strength that I felt completely safe and supported. Because of her, I was able to welcome my precious bundle of joy into this world with trust and positivity.
I am truly, deeply, and endlessly grateful—zillion times thankful—for everything she has done for me and my baby. She is not just an excellent doctor, but a blessing to every mother she cares for.
Thank you tons, doctor, for being such a wonderful human and for making this journey so beautiful and memorable. 💖

![Some arrivals are so special that words simply aren’t enough. 🤍
You wait, you imagine, you count the days… and then suddenly, that little one is here. 👶✨
And in that moment, there may be no perfect sentence—just happy tears, an overflowing heart, and a love you’re meeting for the very first time.
As an obstetrician, witnessing these first moments between parents and their newborn will always be one of the most beautiful parts of what I do. 🥹🤍

![Pregnancy comes with several important milestones—and ultrasounds help your doctor check your baby’s growth and development along the way. 🤰🤍
From the early pregnancy scan to the NT scan, anomaly/Level 2 scan and growth scans when indicated, each ultrasound has a different purpose and timing.
But does every pregnant woman need the exact same number of ultrasounds? Not necessarily. The number and frequency of scans can vary depending on your pregnancy, medical history, your baby’s growth and any concerns that may arise.
So instead of comparing your scan schedule with another mom-to-be, follow the ultrasound plan recommended for your pregnancy. 🩺✨
And remember—having an additional scan when medically indicated doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong. Sometimes, your doctor simply needs a closer look or continued monitoring.
Save this reel as a quick reminder and share it with a mom-to-be. 🤍

![With H1N1 cases being reported, pregnancy is a time to be extra mindful of flu-like symptoms. 🤰
Pregnancy naturally brings changes to the immune system, heart and lungs, which can increase the risk of developing complications from influenza, including H1N1.
Watch out for symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, unusual fatigue or breathing difficulty.
If you’re pregnant and develop flu-like symptoms, contact your doctor early rather than waiting for them to worsen. Your doctor can advise whether testing or antiviral treatment is needed. Avoid self-medication.
Simple precautions matter too—wash your hands regularly, avoid close contact with people who are unwell, follow good respiratory hygiene, and speak to your doctor about flu vaccination during pregnancy.
Don’t panic—just stay informed and act early. 🤍

![Noticed a little blood while brushing your teeth during pregnancy? 🦷🤰
Pregnancy could be playing a role.
Hormonal changes during pregnancy can make your gums more sensitive to plaque, leading to redness, swelling, tenderness and bleeding while brushing or flossing—often referred to as pregnancy gingivitis.
But bleeding gums shouldn’t mean you stop brushing. Maintain good oral hygiene with gentle brushing using a soft-bristled toothbrush, floss regularly, and keep up with your dental check-ups. 🤍
If the bleeding is frequent or heavy, or you notice significant swelling, persistent pain, pus, loose teeth or other concerning changes, speak to your dentist and let them know you’re pregnant.
Your oral health is an important part of taking care of yourself during pregnancy too. ✨

![Pregnancy comes with beautiful changes… and a few unexpected ones nobody really warns you about. 🤰🤍
A blocked nose, heartburn, painful leg cramps, constipation, bloating or feeling dizzy when you stand up can all occur during pregnancy.
While many of these discomforts are common, you don’t always have to simply put up with them. Small everyday changes—staying well hydrated, eating lighter meals, adding fibre gradually, staying gently active and changing positions slowly—may help you feel more comfortable.
And remember, common doesn’t mean every symptom should be ignored. If something feels severe, sudden, persistent or simply worries you, discuss it with your doctor.

![During pregnancy, noticing a little discharge or leakage from your nipples can catch you by surprise—but in many cases, it can be completely normal. 🤍
Your breasts start preparing for breastfeeding even before your baby arrives. The discharge may be clear, whitish or yellowish and can be colostrum—the nutrient-rich first milk your body produces for your baby. Some women notice it during pregnancy, while others don’t notice any leakage at all. Both can be normal and neither predicts how well you’ll breastfeed.
Avoid repeatedly squeezing the nipples just to check for discharge.
However, speak to your doctor if the discharge is bloody, foul-smelling, pus-like, only from one breast, or is accompanied by a new lump, significant pain, redness, warmth or fever.
Pregnancy comes with plenty of unexpected changes—knowing what’s normal can make them a little less worrying. 🤰💕

![Rakhi was never really about the thread… it was always about us. 🤍
From fighting over the smallest things to becoming a team the very next minute… from being my little brother and first best friend to becoming someone so special to my little ones too—some relationships simply grow more beautiful with time. 🥹
We may not say it often, but I know that no matter where life takes us, we’ll always show up for each other when it matters.
And perhaps that’s what Raksha truly means—not just protecting each other, but checking in, caring, standing beside one another and quietly saying, “I’m always here.” ❤️
To all the brothers and sisters who grew up fighting, laughing, protecting and loving each other in their own unique way…
Happy Raksha Bandhan! 🪢🤍

![Epidural liya tha… isliye ab back pain ho raha hai?” 🤔
It’s a concern I hear from many new mothers—but persistent backache after delivery isn’t automatically caused by the epidural.
Temporary soreness around the injection site can happen. But postpartum back pain can also be related to the physical changes of pregnancy and delivery, weakened core muscles, lifting and carrying your baby, feeding posture, lack of rest, and the everyday demands of caring for a newborn.
So before blaming the epidural, it’s important to understand what’s actually causing your pain.
If your back pain is severe, persistent, worsening, or accompanied by weakness, numbness, fever, or bladder/bowel problems, speak to your doctor promptly.
💜 Don’t let myths make you fearful of your pain-relief options. Ask questions and make an informed decision with your medical team.
Save this reel and share it with a mom-to-be who has heard this epidural myth!
